Do attorneys make good strategic partners for financial advisors and insurance agents? That’s a great question…and the answer is…well yes and no. 

Like most things in life, “For every gimme there’s a gotcha.” 

In this video, Anton Anderson reviews the pros and cons of forming strategic partnerships with attorneys, which includes: 

Pros:

  • Viewed as a trusted professional
  • Estate, business, and tax attorneys do related work
  • Open to adding value to clients 
  • Open to being compensated 

Cons:

  • Relationships are more transactional 
  • Don’t have same type of consistent communication as CPA
  • Typically aren’t clients, “Go To Professional”
