Have you heard the story of the boiling frog?
If you drop a frog in boiling water, it will jump out; but if you put a frog in water and gradually raise the heat, it will not realize that it is cooking.
The analogy of the boiling frog, in this example, can be applied to Accountants as often, they can lose sight of the big picture while getting consumed with the details of their clients. It is easy to get buried in their work, serving their clients, especially in a year such as 2020.
To maximize business potential, Accountants need to stop their "serving" mentality - only working "in" the business instead of "on" the business.
Paul Latham will explain HOW to refocus in this episode.
